Our Dallas, TX client is looking for an SEM Analyst. The selected candidate will have the following skill set:

The Search Marketing Analyst is responsible for analyzing and communicating in-depth business marketing data for online SEM advertising campaigns. This individual will monitor key findings from reports and data analyses on a regular basis to make informed business decisions and identify opportunities to improve online campaign performance based on client goals, objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Product knowledge:
Acquision PPC Management Platform �?? Experience highly desirable
Google Adwords, content and display �?? Certification preferred
Bing/Yahoo Paid Search and display
Facebook paid search
Manage assigned SEM accounts.
Ad Copy-writing and Testing.
New Keyword Development and Testing
Insuring all activity on accounts is within budget guidelines.
Assist Senior SEM Analysts with tasks.
QA accounts within the search engines.
Pull requested reports for Analyst's optimization efforts.
Develop potential client quotes for the sales team.
Secondary campaign builds in search engines, as assigned.
Month End Client Reporting, Verification and Distribution.
Weekly Custom Client Based Manual Reporting.
Daily Custom Client Based Conversion Breakdown Reporting.
Perform data validation and modeling to ensure accuracy and quality of data.
Social Media distribution on assigned accounts.

Administration:
Updating CRM system with all appropriate client information and interactions, including but not limited to logging calls/meetings, any actions conducted on an account, etc.
Interfacing with management and the sales team to facilitate the approval of new business.
Interfacing directly with Senior SEM Analysts in a professional manor.
Verify campaign accuracy, tracking and client's website/landing page operation on a regular basis.
Complying with company policies and procedures manuals.
Regular attendance at work

Knowledge, Skills, Experience, Education, Requirements:
B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Finance, Marketing or other quantitative field.
At least one year in an analytical/statistics focused position, preferably in online marketing analysis-oriented role. Minimum two years paid search experience (SEO experience a plus).
Hands-on experience with campaign management software, database querying tools, languages and analytical platforms.
Knowledge of the online business marketing principals (impressions, clicks, conversions, return on investment (ROI), cost per acquisition (CPA)) preferred.
Exceptional Excel skills - formulas, filtering, pivot tables, and trending charts. Macros and introductory visual basic proficiency preferred.
Ability to spot data trends .
Experience in advanced analytic methodologies such as A-B testing, competitive analysis, and market research.
Strong projection-based, business-centric analytical and reporting skills. Someone who loves data and making decisions based on what the data represents.
Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly and effectively communicate and present analysis findings and recommendations for marketing strategies.
Proficient in managing numbers.
Ability to understand client objectives and how they translate into search and media strategies.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate percentages, interest, and practical application of account receivables and accounts payable functions.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
